Bedwetting Medication – Tolterodine
Tolterodine also known as Detrol and Detrusitol, is an antimuscarinic drug that can be used to treat urinary problems such as wetting the bed. Tolterodine is known to better directly target the bladder than other bed wetting drugs, because of this is can be taken in lower doses but still produce good results with limited side effects.
Tolterodine is a white, crystalline powder and is taken in doseages of 2 mg or 4 mg, depending on the bedwetters age. Capsule form is used to deliver this bed wetting medication.
Side Effects
As with many medications, there are a few side effects that are once in a ehile seen in patients
- dry mouth
- minor upset stomach
- headaches
- problems sleeping
