How to Prevent Bed Wetting
I was looking on YouTube this morning and found this great video on bed wetting. It features Dr. Bob Sears from www.AskDrSears.com and does a great job explaining some things parent can do for children to help them make it through the night without wetting the bed.
He says that children age 3 or 4 even 5 or 6 years of age will naturally have a problem staying dry every night, they just may not have matured into sleeping the night without wetting the bed. He says that it’s important not to view this as a problem and help the child feel comfortable with themselves and use pull ups.
Once a child reaches 6 or 7 years of age, they should be able to stay dry at night. He then goes through some steps parents can take to help a child stay wet at night.
